Psychosynthesis
[ send me this essay ]
4 pages in length. Drawing upon the deeper, more fractured components of an individual's 'self,' psychosynthesis is a process whereby these otherwise separate elements are brought together in order to align these multiple facets of the person's holistic being. This blending attribute is meant to integrate the myriad aspects of mind and body to which conventional theories have only given passing glances; traditional psychotherapies go only so far into a person's overall being in order to rebalance the mind, leaving out many critical components the foster healing of the whole individual rather than merely pieces and parts. Gestalt is one particularly effective model of change that embraces the holistic tenets of psychosynthesis and is useful in short term work. Bibliography lists 3 sources.

Public Speaking: Situation That Did Not Go Well And How It Was Handled
[ send me this essay ]
3 pages in length. I walked up to the podium, notes in hand, ready to conquer the crowd of five hundred people that eagerly waited for what I had to say. The topic was one with which I was intimately familiar and had been immersed in for most of my life, so there was no danger of confusing the facts or misspeaking on the data. In short, this was to be a very simple oration unworthy of any unease. However, that was the logical side of my brain; the emotional side, on the other hand, was a complete and utter mess. The writer recounts a harrowing public speaking experience and how it was addressed to improve for future speaking engagements. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
