Fate In Literature

When not being used in the context of paying taxes, 'fate' is often associated with the cycle of life. Life is born, grows and dies. Fate is a term that means many things to different individuals, cultures and societies. The simplest definition may be 'inevitable'. A common idiom that portrays the concept of fate is, 'what must be, must be'. Fate is portrayed in literature in many different ways, as well.
