Looking back upon such important theories as nature versus nurture, Piaget's Cognitive Development Theory, Gesell's Maturational Theory and Bandura's Observational Learning Theory allows one to gain a significantly better perspective of the notion of intelligence, as well as the path of progression it has taken over time.
